The series ends with issue 8. The Larfleeze character, featured in the Threshold back-up story, will be spinning out into his own series (which will also probably only last around 8 issues).
Am I disappointed? Yes. But more because I'm wondering what's going to become of my beloved Blue Beetle than any worry over the future of K'Rot. Plus, I actually really liked the story in this series. But I wasn't expecting it to last past issue 12, so I really wasn't surprised when I heard the news.

The game is over for the Hunted! Who lives and who dies is sure to set the universe ablaze. Plus, a major villain emerges from the shadows!
Hopefully, DC will wise up now and bring back the real Captain Carrot, maybe with a Captain Carrot vs Captain K'Rot one-shot. Yeah, I doubt it.
Is Vibe cancelled yet?
Have you READ Vibe? It's pretty freakin good. And there are more multiverse cameos in that book than any other. It's like a "Who's STILL Who in the DC Multiverse".ReplyDelete
And I wasn't really surprised about Threshold, it's a CHORE to get through...
I actually enjoyed Threshold. Would have preferred it with the REAL Captain Carrot, of course.ReplyDelete
Nah, I haven't read Vibe yet. lol I was just making a Vibe joke. I have it on my pull list, just haven't actually gotten any sent to me yet (I have waaaaaaaay too much stuff on my pull list).
Okay, now I've read all 5 issues of Vibe. You're right, Chad. it is really damn good!! I have to say, I think it might be my current favorite.ReplyDelete
So with THRESHOLD heading out the door, does this mean we're gonna get some classic CAPTAIN CARROT posts soon?!?!? Missing your blog...ReplyDelete
The Irredeemable Shag
Soon, Shag. Soon. Like I said, I've been super duper busy. Once I'm done getting the Man-cave set up at my new place, I'll be back in the swing of things.ReplyDelete
