ALIENS vs Captain Carrot Art by Scott Shaw!

So recently, I bought the Aliens: Colonial Marines game for my XBox 360, and while the game has its issues, for the most part I've been enjoying it quite a bit. It even brought on an Aliens and Predator movie marathon, which is always a good time.

Then as I was watching Aliens, (the best of the series, in my opinion) and rebagging and boarding my Captain Carrot comics for my upcoming move to Thunder Bay, I remembered a piece of art I thought I had seen by Scott Shaw that featured the xenomorphs fighting everyone's favorite Zoo Crew. After a quick stumble through the Internet, I found it.

In space, no one can hear you...okay I got nothin'.

I LOVE THIS! I would buy the crap out of this! Too bad it will never happen.

Apparently, Gail Simone wrote a joke script for this 'issue' which can be found here on an old Comic Book Resources.com You'll Be Sorry article from March 20th, 2000, which is the reason Scott put the cover together in the first place. Not how I would want an actual book to go, but still an entertaining read.

Any other Captain Carrot VS _______ crossovers you'd like to see? Let me know.

So that's it for now. Sorry again for the lack of updates recently, but Bounty Hunter has been keeping me really busy, and so has this move. Not enough hours in the day. But hey, if you're bored, you can always go read some of those other nifty blogs over there on the right, and head on over to Firestorm Fan and the Aquaman Shrine and download some Fire & Water Podcast episodes. Shag and Rob have been churning out some episodes lately.

(Edit: I meant to say 'great' episodes. But I guess they aren't THAT great, so I'll just leave it at 'some' episodes.)

  1. I think a super-powered rabbit would be the perfect hero to finally rid the world of the creepy, cultish Veggie Tales.

The obvious choices for a team-up would be Marvel's Howard the Duck or Rocket Raccoon. Bucky O'Hare would be cool. The Aquabats? The Warehouse 13 crew? Joel McHale?
